One of my favorite quick service spots at Walt Disney World Resort has to be the Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
I have a tendency to visit Roaring Fork even when I’m not staying at Wilderness Lodge – I blame that on the Roast Beef and Blue sandwich. I usually find myself craving that sandwich as soon as I step foot inside the hotel’s lobby – which is normal after a long flight, right? Of course it is! The sandwich is really that good.
On any given day you’ll find Roaring Fork bustling with hungry guests and while the seating area is a bit small, you can sit outside if the weather is nice (you know if it’s not 100 degrees outside).
Breakfast is a great time to eat at the Roaring Fork because while they are serving up the Bounty Platter which will hold you over until lunch you can also choose from some lighter options grab-and-go yogurt parfaits or baked goods from the bakery case. My favorite item used to be the “create your own cereal mixture” but sadly that’s gone now. Your cereal options consist of small grab-and-go containers.
If you have a refillable mug this is also the spot to fill up with coffee or pop. And if you’re just looking for a quick snack you’ll find a variety of grab-and-go options.
Roaring Fork is located to the left of the lobby, down the ramp toward the pool area.
