The Walt Disney World Resort has reportedly been sending surveys to guests asking their opinion on the possibility of a $15-per-night resort fee for all on-property resorts.
The resort fee would cover things such as the Disney Magical Express, MagicBands, priority Fast+Pass planning at your resort, Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks, parking at the hotel and the theme parks, and Wi-Fi.
Other hotels in the Orlando area – including the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels – charge nightly resort fees for things such as Wi-Fi, parking, and more. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel also charge a nightly resort fee.
There is no official word yet on when or if Disney might start charging a resort fee for on-property guests.
